Newsletter and contact

When you subscribe to our electronic newsletter, you agree to the storage of your name and your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter (Art. 6 clause 1 first sentence letter a GDPR). These data are not disclosed to third parties. You can revoke your consent to the newsletter at any point with effect for the future and thus terminate the newsletter subscription (notice in the newsletter).

You can enter your personal data on our website in order to get in touch with us. Only the information marked with an asterisk is compulsory. Entering your name, the name of your company and your e-mail address is always required. The disclosure of any further data may be helpful for processing your request, but is not mandatory (voluntary information). These data will, with your consent, only be used and stored for processing your message (Art. 6 clause 1 first sentence letter a GDPR). Any use for any other purpose, or any disclosure to third parties will not take place, unless you explicitly agree to said use or disclosure (consent). 

Cookies

A cookie called “pxpcookies_status”, which is necessary for the technical operation of the website, is currently placed by us for a period of 1 month, to enable us to store your opt-in status. Other technically necessary cookies with the names “_cflb”, “_cf”, “_bm” and “_cfduid” are likewise placed for a period of 1 month. The purpose of these cookies is to provide a content delivery network (CND) and defend against DoS attacks. Log Files

Every time you access our website, we will collect the following information concerning your computer: your computer’s IP address, the request made by your browser, as well as the time of such request. Apart from that, the status and the amount of data transferred within the framework of said request will be collected, but also product and version information on the browser used, as well as on the operating system of your computer. Furthermore, we will also record the web page you used to access our website. In this context, the IP address of your computer will be saved only for the period during which you use the website and will be deleted immediately thereafter or anonymised by way of shortening. The remaining data will be stored for a limited period of time. Matomo

This website uses “Matomo”, a web analytics service, to analyse the use of our website and regularly improve its usability. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in leveraging the statistics which are collected to improve our website and make it more attractive for users. The legal basis for using Matomo is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR.

Embedded third-party content (e.g. Google Maps, YouTube etc.)

Where our websites display third-part content such as Google Maps, YouTube or Vimeo, this content can only be made available and can only be displayed in your browser following the transmission of your IP address and the content specified under “Log Files” to the third-party provider. We have no influence on data processing undertaken by the third-party provider. If you are registered with a user account with the third-party provider, the third-party provider may be able to link your user behaviour with your user account. Where applicable, the third-party provider may store your data as user profiles and may use these for advertisement, market research and/or customised design of their websites. If we have included on our website content and / or websites of third parties or link to them, you leave with the activation of the hyperlink also the sphere of influence of our website. This means that Romaco has no influence on the nature, purpose and extent of the data processing by the third party. Romaco is therefore not responsible within the meaning of the GDPR for the processing of personal data, which takes place when visiting and / or using the external content.

Revocation of consent and objection to data processing

Where we base the processing of your personal data on balancing of interest, you may object to processing. When lodging such objection, we would like to ask you to state reasons as to why we should refrain from processing your personal data in the way we do.
