Romaco at P-Mec 2011

The Noack 930P blister packaging line with integrated horizontal cartoner achieves a maximum packaging speed of 400 blisters per minute. The unique design of the Macofar VF 12 liquid filler facilitates a strict separation between "white" and "grey" areas.

P-Mec will be staged at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai, India. The Romaco products will be on show from November 30 to December 2, 2011 in Hall 6, Stand D32.

Noack 930P blister packaging line
The Noack 930P blister packaging line unites the technologies of the N 930 blister packaging machine and the Promatic PC 4400 continuous horizontal cartoner. This compact and extremely versatile system is suitable for producing very small to medium batch sizes. Tablets, oblongs and soft or hard gelatine capsules are processed on a line less than ten meters long. The blister packaging machine with platen sealing boasts a maximum packaging speed of 400 blisters a minute. QuickFeed, the replaceable product feed unit, enables product changeovers to be completed in a matter of seconds. The fully automatic QuickAdjust station control systems ensure absolutely reliable processes. The robot-controlled QuickTransfer station connects the blister machine directly to the cartoner.

Integrated Promatic PC 4400 horizontal cartoner
The integrated Promatic PC 4400 horizontal cartoner impresses with its ergonomic design and its balcony structure. Apart from a maximum output of 420 folding cartons per minute, the machine's GMP-compliant concept featuring several servo motors also results in absolutely secure packaging processes. Format part or packaging changeovers can be rapidly performed without any mechanical adjustments by the responsible shift operator. All fully automatic processes can be controlled and monitored efficiently via the control panel. Downtime, maintenance, noise levels and vibration are reduced to a minimum at maximum output.

Macofar VF 12 aseptic liquid filler
The Macofar VF 12 aseptic liquid filler represents Romaco's newest generation of machines for filling sterile pharmaceutical liquids and biotech products into vials. It combines a maximum output of 12,000 vials per minute with compliance with the most stringent GMP specifications. The plant’s unique slim and ergonomic design offers maximum product safety. The integrated open RABS (Restricted Access Barrier System) keeps operators away from critical areas during production. Servo driven peristaltic pumps, a new stoppering system and vertical laminar flows assure maximum sterility throughout the process. The design allows through-wall installation, creating a strict separation between "white" and "grey" areas.
